If you’re feeling weighed down by anxiety, depression, or the pain of past experiences, you don’t have to face it alone. I work with adults who are tired of feeling stuck and want real relief and change in their lives. When we work together, you’ll find a safe space to feel what you feel — without judgment or pressure to ‘just get over it.’ I’ll help you learn how to comfort yourself and handle your emotions with more kindness, instead of pushing them away. This gentler way of caring for yourself can help you feel more balanced, calmer, and more at peace with yourself and your life

I specialize in supporting kids and young adults with self-esteem, giftedness, perfectionism and a sense of belonging.
I have always been drawn to kids and young adults who feel like they don’t quite fit — often sensitive, quirky, bright or hard on themselves. Some are underachieving in school despite clear potential; others struggle with perfectionism or anxiety about not being “enough” or being "too much." I help build self-acceptance, connection and a sense of belonging. Your child deserves to feel proud of who they are, not in spite of their differences but because of them. While I certainly enjoy working with young people excited for therapy, I also work very well with children who are having hesitations.

The process of seeking help can be rough and it’s normal to have fears about trusting someone new to discuss difficult topics. However, it is also moments like this that provide us the opportunity for lasting transformation. Challenging times in our lives offer the potential to create lifelong change through abandoning unhelpful patterns of living, which were formed in our personal histories. Life is full of challenging transitions, and it can be experienced as emotionally overwhelming. In these moments, we can reconnect with our internal compass in our path to healing.

Welcome! You’re in the right place if you’re ready to try something new, something a little different than conventional talk therapy. It’s intuitive & experiential. We involve the wisdom of the body in addition to the mind and emotions to access deeper levels of change. It’s a type of whole-system change that’s built on curiosity, exploration, & empowerment that leads to more self-awareness, agency, & resilience for navigating the seasons of life. Clients who find my approach most beneficial tend to be burned out, disconnected, sensitive, stuck, lost, as well as those exploring psychedelics, grief, death, & spiritual openings.

Sometimes, situations and feelings are too much to bear alone. In therapy, you have a chance to be heard, to be seen and valued, and to express your deepest feelings. With a gentle and compassionate presence, I create a safe place for you to go within and find the core of who you are--and from that place, be guided. With a nonjudgmental and caring outlook, I invite awareness, acceptance, and appreciation of all emotions and their expression, including the difficult ones, giving them room to BE, and then they can change.

Are you tired of feeling burnt out, overwhelmed, and uncertain about your future? If you're ready for real change, you're in the right place. You may be feeling stuck in a pattern, unsure about a major decision, or making progress that doesn't stick. I can help you finally see lasting results. What you may not know is that our brains are a lot like computers: most of our actions are based on our subconscious scripts, which means real change requires reprogramming because your subconscious blocks are dictating your actions and making it almost impossible to make lasting change. That's where our work begins!

Self Esteem Therapists
When should a person seek therapy for low self-esteem?
When self-esteem problems begin to disrupt the healthy daily functioning of an individual, it may be a good time to look into therapy. If a person finds that they are not engaging with friends for fear of being judged, not completing work assignments because they don’t think they’re capable, or not finding romantic love because they don’t feel they’re worthy of it, a therapist may be able to help.

What are the signs of low self-esteem?
Low self-esteem is a common issue that can affect a person's mental and emotional well-being. Some common signs of low self-esteem include negative self-talk, perfectionism, social anxiety, difficulty making decisions, an inability to set boundaries, people-pleasing, and others. A lack of belief in oneself or one’s abilities and a feeling of not being worthy or deserving underlie most of these characteristics.

What causes low self-esteem?
Feelings of low self-worth can begin in childhood or adulthood. Being raised by a highly critical parent or growing up feeling constant disapproval can stay with a person well into adulthood. Specific issues in adulthood may also be a cause of low self-esteem. An unhappy relationship, a dysfunctional work or school experience can impact a person’s feelings of self-worth.

How can therapy improve self-esteem?
Therapists can help identify negative thought patterns that keep the client stuck in a loop of destructive self-talk and develop coping skills to change the voice in their head. A therapist can help with goal-setting, so that clients are better able to stay on task and build confidence from successfully completing work they’re proud of. Coaching a client on how to better communicate can improve relationships. These skills can result in someone with low self-esteem feeling empowered and living with less fear.
