You don’t know who you are outside of everyone else’s expectations because you have spent your life performing and conforming. You want permission to exist exactly as yourself, without judgement and without needing to have it all figured out. You feel fairly seasoned in your life, and yet, you still question yourself or your choices. You have spent years making yourself easier to understand, easier to love, or easier to accept, but now you want relationships that don’t require you to mask. Instead, you’re looking for your relationships and a life to feel authentic to who you really are.

As a therapist, with Wellness Blooms Therapy Services group practice, I work with individuals who feel emotionally overwhelmed, disconnected, or at a turning point in life. Many are carrying unresolved trauma, grief, or patterns that no longer serve them, yet sense there is something deeper calling them forward. They come seeking not only relief, but meaning wanting to understand their experiences and transform pain into growth. Through a compassionate, holistic approach, I help clients reconnect with themselves, shift internal patterns, and move toward a more empowered, authentic, and purpose-driven life.

Most of us are stuck in our heads, struggling with competing ideologies, worldviews, and internalized (usually critical) voices from our past. Using empathetic active listening and body-focused inquiry, I will work with you to create safe space within which to explore who you are and replace confusion with clarity---a body-based "felt sense" of what's true that becomes an increasingly reliable guide for authentic action.

I'm endlessly curious about what makes people who they are, and what gets in the way of them becoming who they want to be. I believe we're all shaped by stories — the ones we tell ourselves, and the ones we've absorbed from family, culture, and society. Some may empower us, others may be quietly working against us.
The psychoanalyst D.W. Winnicott said, “It’s a joy to be hidden and a disaster not to be found.” It’s easy — satisfying even — to hide some of the stories we believe about ourselves, especially those involving shame or fear. But in the process, we might unwittingly hide parts of who we really are.

Do your emotions feel overwhelming? Are you bored and restless with your life? Does the future seem hopeless? Many of us experience these feelings, yet often think we're the only ones. We worry that if we show people what’s really going on, they will avoid and judge us. In therapy, we give voice to these feelings, and learn that while they can be scary at times, they also reveal a path to healing and change.

Children don’t come with a personalized manual.
More & more, parents recognize the high stakes that come along with passing down unhelpful & sometimes harmful, family patterns. Many of us have not had a model for how to nurture the baby or take care of growing kids without sacrificing too much of ourselves. This responsibility can often feel overwhelming.
Each parent’s journey is unique & requires a learning process that no other time of life prepares us for.
As a mom of five incredible kids, who has survived CPTSD, huge family losses, Postpartum Depression & Anxiety, and chronic illness- I have taken an uphill path towards

I approach clients with curiosity and compassion as we work together to find what may be missing in their story and relationships for a more fulfilling and satisfying life.
My work is grounded in the belief that each person holds inner wisdom. Together, we explore what may be obscuring access to that wisdom, find courage to move towards pain and create greater clarity, healing, and growth.
I am most interested in how we make meaning, navigate relationships, and reconnect with our authentic selves.
My experience as a yoga teacher also informs my work, helping clients reconnect with the wisdom and resilience of their bodies.

My approach includes Parts Work, somatic awareness, and cultural context, connecting the mind, body, and history behind what you are carrying.
You may feel like you are carrying more than you can hold. Maybe you are living with PTSD or trauma, including childhood trauma, neglect, or family and relationship abuse. Maybe anxiety has taken over your days, or old family patterns keep showing up in your relationships. If you come from an immigrant family or are navigating more than one culture, you may be carrying family expectations and responsibilities in more than one language and world. Whatever brought you here, you do not have to carry it alone.

Leadership stress looks like carrying decisions no one else can make, managing competing priorities, absorbing other people's anxiety, and still needing to perform at very high levels. When stress starts affecting judgment, relationships, health, or performance, we help leaders regain perspective, make aligned decisions, and function at a high level without sacrificing themselves in the process.

You’re a human being worthy of kindness, compassion, and understanding of where you’ve been and what you’re going through. To me, what you’re feeling is totally valid and all behavior makes sense. However, sometimes what we’re doing isn’t working. It can feel exhausting trying to figure out what needs to change all on your own, especially if your thoughts seem loud and emotions feel big. Whether you’re a young adult feeling stuck in your depression or anxiety or adjusting to life transitions you don’t have to be overwhelmed by these stressors and you certainly don’t have to feel alone.

Somatic Therapists
How does somatic therapy work?
Somatic therapy is a form of treatment that focuses on how the body and mind are interconnected. In this approach, physical symptoms are addressed because they may in fact signal emotional distress. Somatic therapists combine mindfulness, talk therapy, breathwork, yoga, dance, and physical manipulations of the body to help patients become more attuned to what their body is telling them.
Is EMDR a somatic therapy?
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a form of somatic therapy, as it incorporates mental and physical principles. EMDR involves remembering a traumatic experience while allowing one’s eyes to track a side-to-side visual stimulus from a therapist. This lateral eye movement is believed to diminish the painful power of the memory so that it can be discussed with a therapist.
Is somatic therapy evidence-based?
Somatic therapy has been researched and studied, and some forms of somatic therapy are found to be effective in treating a wide range of conditions. Because somatic therapy encompasses many techniques, some, such as EMDR and meditation, have been studied more than others.
What is somatic trauma therapy?
Somatic trauma therapy is based on the idea that when people experience trauma, they can become stuck in the “freeze” part of a “fight, flight, or freeze” response. In this state, trauma can manifest itself both mentally and physically—through tension in the muscles, anxiety, and stress. Popular forms of somatic trauma therapy include EMDR, sensorimotor therapy, and somatic experiencing.
