Why bother. The first was pathetic and embarrassing. So many plot holes and inconsistencies.

It was embarrassing. Not to mention the worst looking Xenomorph ever put to film.

Its just trash. Absolutely terrible. First two episodes are quite bearable but from then on it is disastrous, so many plot holes its painful and makes Prometheus looks well written (which is a stretch) and the worst Xenomorph design and look in the franchise its looks embarrassing.

Just so much wrong with it.

How it got another series I do not know. Good money after bad. The writers didnt seem to know what was happening!? So many inconsistencies and holes its as if theyve never seen the franchise and just made it up as went along.

Yet another Diversity Equity Inclusivity casting.

Getting boring now how EVERYTHING has to be race swopped and made about race/political/gender.

They never learn. Go woke go broke.

Stop forcing the issue. Cast people simply because they are right regardless. This just screams DEI.

Its like we have to struggle to have white representation in shoes and films now! Which goes against DEI meaning surely?

Its kinda racist in itself.

Star Wars, Dr Who, Marvel Zzzzzz Disney never learn. And now Harry Potter and X-Files.

Even that mediocre film SINNERS and all its nominations at Oscars was so DEI it became ludicrous. Its so forced. Such an average film. Best Original screenplay! Give me a break! Its From Dusk Till Dawn from Temu. And anyone winning from it should know there's no glory in that win. Was all bought and paid for.

Shame as there are deserving, great black actors out there making amazing films and they give awards that to that film. Smh. 🙄 its kinda insulting and I think deep down they know but hardly gonna say no are they.

Phew. Its the comics. Thought was tv show. Hope they don't bring him back in the TV series any time.

Hope its better than that epic fail of a Jigsaw in the netflix series.

I'll not go to cinema to see the new DREDD unless Karl Urban is in it.

He IS DREDD and I can't see anyone else in the role.

Its the only way id invest in it.

The choice of Director is terrible and caused a wave of discontent throughout the Dredd fan base. Especially after the atrocious Thor Love and Thunder. His goofy humour isnt a match. Dredd needs dark humour not goofiness.

If he managed to get Karl Urban on board it would go A LONG WAY to keeping the fantasy happy and getting them to reconsider supporting the movie.

Shame that Netflix cut the budget so severely gor the 2nd season.

It showed greatly and all the grandeur, vast cityscape reminiscent of Blade Runner were gone and endless scenes in a forest were in.

Also Anthony Mavkie brought a totally lazy performance. He really isnt a good actor and just needs to stick with small TV shows like Twisted Metal. He didnt even try to bring the nuances of the character alive. Did he even study the character?

Series 1 was/is one of the best SciFi shows ever.

Its just fantastic.

Great visuals. Characters. Acting and special fx, fights, action and even sexiness.

So sad it was half heartedly made in series 2. Its almost like they wanted it to fail.

Hopefully by ignoring it altogether as its simply one of the worst written sci fis in decades.

Then again so was ALIEN EARTH. 😂😂

Both Alien Earth and Prometheus/Covenant are stains on the franchise.

I loved the games.

The series 1 was surprisingly enjoyable. Even with Mackie involved. (He really isnt the greatest actor is he. So overrated. His Captain America movie was meh. He killed Altered Carbon s2 and Falcon was also meh) so I never returned to S2 of TM.

I may get around to it. But he's just off putting know he's involved.

Thats a shame. Love Fede films. Although Romulus has too much nostalgia.

(That "Get away from her you B**ch" line was cringe inducing and pointless)

The film was a return to form after the God awful Ridley Scott plot holes ridden and terrible script Prometheus and Covenant.

I just hope Ridley stays away. He should retire.

Excellent news. This fim. Was/is one of the best modern sci fi films ever. It is simply stunning. Great cast, epic story. Action and FX were brilliant. And just the right amount of humour as to not spoil it. .

If they can weave that magic again and Emily and Tom return with Doig directing ill be first in queue at cinema.

Make sure its 3D though.

Because they didn't know better and thought. Yey another alien film. Scott made the classic original. Gonna be great.

I went to see in Cinema and almost asked for my.money back. Worst nonsensical script in years. Truly a beautiful looking turd of a film.

Ridley Scott needs to retire.

Gladiator 2 was dreadful.

Prometheus dreadful

Covenant dreadful

He's crapping all over his legacy.

But his best is far behind him and he's not good at choosing scripts anymore.

Retire. Many thanks for some amazing true classics.

But stay away from ALIEN and thankfully hasn't been able to ruin BR yet.
