Why do you love aviation?
Growing up in New Zealand, I quickly learned how essential aviation is for connecting communities across the country and linking us to the rest of the world. Watching the industry evolve over the years has deepened my appreciation for aviation, making every flight an opportunity to experience the innovation and connectivity that keeps people and places connected.
What is your favourite aircraft and why?
It's hard to choose just one. The ATR 72-600 is a standout for its role in connecting regional communities, while the Boeing 787-9 showcases the innovation that has made long-haul travel more efficient and comfortable. Although they serve very different missions, both embody what I enjoy most about aviation: connecting people, places, and opportunities.
What is your industry focus?
My reporting focuses on airlines, airports, and global route networks, with a particular interest in airline schedules, fleet deployment, and aviation strategy. I enjoy analyzing who flies where, how often, and on which aircraft, using industry data to uncover the trends shaping commercial aviation.
