Phu Tho promotes bringing products and services to the digital environment.

The People's Committee of Phu Tho province has just issued Decision No. 903/QD-UBND promulgating the Program to promote the consumption of products and services in the digital environment for the period 2026-2030, aiming to create a turning point in the sustainable development of the digital economy, while comprehensively equipping people and businesses in the province with digital skills.

Using "Digital Trust" as a foundation.

In Decision No. 903/QD-UBND dated March 23, 2026, promulgating the Program to Promote the Consumption of Products and Services in the Digital Environment for the period 2026-2030, the People's Committee of Phu Tho province identified the consumption of products and services in the digital environment as a "strategic lever" to realize socio -economic development goals. Accordingly, the Program places citizens and businesses at the center, laying the foundation of "digital trust" with the overarching requirement that all transactions must be safe, transparent, convenient, and compliant with the law.

Creating momentum for sustainable growth.

By 2030, Phu Tho province has set many specific targets to promote the digital economy in conjunction with the inclusive development of a digital society. These include:

The satisfaction rate of citizens and businesses when using online public services reached 99%.

At least 45% of provincial-level specialty products and OCOP products will receive support for intellectual property protection registration and post-protection origin and quality control.

Implement the program to support retail store digital transformation in at least two communes/wards.

At least 35% of products using barcodes and product identification numbers can be tracked and looked up on the National Product and Goods Traceability Portal;

Over 50% of the adult population has a personal digital or electronic signature.

By 2030, all targets will be improved, specifically: 99% of citizens will be satisfied with public services; over 60% of OCOP products will be protected and quality-controlled; 70% of products will have traceable origins; support for digital retail will be expanded to at least 10 communes/wards; 100% of data centers and businesses providing cloud computing services and online content will implement IPv6 only; over 70% of the adult population will use digital signatures...

Implement 7 key solution groups simultaneously.

To achieve the above goal, Phu Tho will implement seven key solution groups simultaneously:

Supporting the digital marketing of products: Providing advice and support to businesses, cooperatives, and household businesses in building digital storefronts and participating in e-commerce platforms; connecting farmers with consumers through digital platforms; and developing online OCOP (One Commune One Product) store chains domestically and internationally.

Digital skills and e-commerce training: Organize training and workshops using a "hands-on" approach; focusing on online sales skills, livestreaming, promotion, photography, packaging, order processing, and the use of digital tools.

Equipping organizations and individuals with digital skills: Guiding the creation of accounts, transactions, and safe online shopping; promoting cashless payments; enhancing skills in preventing cyber risks; establishing a professional and trustworthy business environment through the registration and use of the national ".vn" domain name.

Developing cashless payments and digital transaction utilities: Promoting electronic payments and the "Market 4.0" model; encouraging small businesses to adopt cashless payments and electronic invoices.

Building consumer trust: Establishing online complaint channels; addressing fraud and counterfeit goods; implementing the "Businesses for Consumers" principle; promoting traceability using QR codes and digital labels; strengthening communication and consumer protection.

Digital cooperation, communication, and trade promotion: Strengthening promotion on digital platforms; connecting e-commerce platforms; promoting products and tourism ; supporting businesses to participate in international e-commerce; promoting the "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods in the digital age" campaign.

Logistics support and e-commerce support services: Upgrading logistics infrastructure; applying IoT and AI; building smart supply chains; expanding rural delivery; implementing standardized packaging and green packaging.

The Provincial People's Committee assigns the Department of Industry and Trade as the lead agency for implementing the Program; the Department of Science and Technology will coordinate the implementation of tasks related to the application of science and technology, traceability, and technical standards and regulations. Based on their assigned functions and tasks, departments, sectors, and localities will proactively develop plans and organize implementation, ensuring effectiveness and consistency throughout the province.

The program to promote digital consumption in the period 2026-2030 serves as a foundation for the development of the digital economy, creating a modern, safe, and professional shopping and trading environment, thereby enhancing the competitiveness of businesses and the quality of life for the people.
