Our blind tasting game—without the tasting! Can you identify a wine just by reading its tasting note? We post real Wine Spectator reviews. You use clues such as color, aromas, flavors and structure to figure out the grape, age and origin. Good luck!

Tasting Note:

This red needs air to fully come around, but there’s plenty to admire, from its mountain herb and anise hyssop aromas to its concentrated, cassis-accented center of plum and blackberry. A subtle wave of acidity cuts through the richness, and its tannins are pleasantly nimble, allowing for a harmonious finish.
