Hi, I'm Jon Christopher — for 20+ years I've built software that moves businesses forward.
My foundation is JavaScript, PHP, HTML, and CSS, with deep WordPress experience and a lot of time spent setting up and optimizing the databases underneath. I built and sold a software product company after running it for seven years, then moved into Laravel, Vue, and Svelte work.
A lot of my work today is still WordPress — it's where I go deepest, and where most of my clients first find me. I have no plans to walk away from it. At the same time, I'm taking on more ground-up custom builds, and I'm always glad to talk through a project that lives well outside the WordPress world.
Modern AI tooling has also changed what a single developer can deliver. I treat it as a force multiplier, not a shortcut — twenty years of experience is what tells me when an answer is actually right. It just means I can move faster, cover more ground, and ship more complete, well-tested work than a solo developer reasonably could a few years ago.
Honestly, the specific stack matters less than the outcome. I'm a full-stack developer who works with businesses to hit real goals — and I have a knack for giving clear technical answers to people who find technology hard to talk about.
