Frequently Asked Questions
We write books and essays and articles and editorials and e-newsletters and blogs. We preach and teach and lecture. We produce both video and audio content. We are an idea factory. We are confident that ideas have consequences, that bad ideas have bad consequences, and that bad theological ideas have the worst consequences of all. Our objective is to combat and overcome bad theological and cultural ideas with good Christian ones.
Yes. We are a think tank. But we are not ivory-tower intellectuals. We communicate ideas that apply in the rough-and-tumble of modern life. We are the adversarial intelligentsia. That is, we are adversaries of the leading secular and neopagan ideas of our time. We go toe-to-toe with anti-Christian intellectuals and show how their views are bankrupt and that Christianity is the only legitimate way.
No. We’re a Kingdom ministry, and we see orthodox local churches as vital in the Lord’s Kingdom. We support good churches. We don’t compete with them.
No. We believe the Faith should apply in politics, but we are not political partisans. We are sociopolitically conservative. We strongly oppose statism, whether from the Left or Right. We believe the state has a vital, but very limited, role in society. The larger cultural role should be occupied by self-governing individuals and faithful families, churches, businesses, and other aspects of pre- and non-political civil society.
