Hi Yann. Could you take a look at File:Tun Hussein bin Dato Onn.Photo-output.jpg and some other uploads of Santaria Fi? All of the user's uploads are being claimed as "own work", but I'm not sure they all are. The photos of mosques and other buildings do have EXIF data indicating they were taken by an iPhone, but files like File:The flag Federal Territories of Malaysia.png, File:DR Amru Al Haz bin Adnan.jpg, and File:Tan Sri Syeikh Ismail bin Muhammad.jpg do not. -- Marchjuly (talk) 04:19, 17 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hello yann, You recently deleted some contributions i had due to copyright issues. this includes File:Yemeni History Himyar Picture.webp and File:Dharihan hayun’im.jpg. Because they are deleted I cannot see them and find the proper copyright sources that i found them under. I'm sorry I missed your reply at Commons:Village_pump/Archive/2025/01#Now_that_the_Taliban_is_back_in_power_should_Afghanistan_still_be_considered_part_of_Berne-World?. Taliban are violent. Mennonites are lovely pacifists. I lived in the center of Mennonite country for fifteen years, and I repeat they are lovely people. Nevertheless, WRT their philosophies on violence, both old-order Mennonites and hard line Taliban, reject modern technology. I think this shows that the Taliban's rejection of modern technology does not -- alone -- mark them as dangerous. So, I think I stand by my observation. Cheers. I noticed you had uploaded the file File:Advanced Problems in Mathematics, vol. 1.pdf. The file is licensed as specified, but the cover image is licensed under a Non-Commercial No-Derivatives license according to the book's copyright page. It is difficult for me to download images and write descriptions (Especially copying links and date's time) for each one over and over again. I wonder: why couldn't someone else take on this task—just as users do when adding images from the governments of the UK, the US, Japan, India, and other countries do when publishing images? Yann, I just saw your message requesting information regarding the source of File:BrunoV.jpg and stating that, otherwise, it would be deleted. Which, as I can see, you have already done. It is an image that I created personally, without using any references (that is, from scratch), at the request of a user who wanted to use it for their personal profile.
