Iron Maiden's Bruce Dickinson Mocks Trump's "Lake America" Name Change: Watch
Iron Maiden singer Bruce Dickinson mocked President Trump’s recent executive order to change the name of Lake Ontario to Lake America during the metal band’s North American tour kickoff show in Toronto on Saturday night.
The frontman told the audience at Scotiabank Arena (watch below), “Hello Canada … we got here. We crossed the Lake of Ontario. And later this year, we’ll be crossing the Gulf of Mexico. But apart from the ridiculous state of the world, how the fuck are you lot tonight? All right?” Later on in the set, he yelled, “Scream for me, Lake Ontario!”

Ella Langley Covers "Jolene" in Tribute to Dolly Parton
Ella Langley honored Dolly Parton during her Friday night concert in Auburn by covering “Jolene.”
Langley also paid tribute to Parton in a statement posted to Instagram, writing, “Dolly, thank you for standing up for yourself as an artist, a songwriter, a musician, a producer, an author, a creative, and most importantly, a woman in this industry.”

The Offspring have released a cover of the Ramones classic “I Wanna Be Sedated,” a song they’ve performed in concert many times.

“We’ve been playing this live on tour, so we thought we’d record a proper studio version for you,” stated the band. “Listen to our cover of the Ramones’ ‘I Wanna Be Sedated’ now.” Interestingly, The Offspring previously recorded the song for the 2003 tribute album We’re a Happy Family: A Tribute to Ramones.

Blues rock band Alabama Shakes are back with their third album, I Must Be Dreaming.
The trio’s first new album in 11 years, I Must Be Dreaming arrives after the 2025 lead single “Another Life,” and the recently released “American Dream.” Guitarist and vocalist Brittany Howard, guitarist Heath Fogg, and bassist Zac Cockrell recorded the project with producer Shawn Everett in Nashville’s Sound Emporium Studios and Blackbird Studio. Prince Estate Releases Album, Timeless, on 10th Anniversary of Death: Stream
The Prince estate has released Timeless, an album of 10 rare and previously unreleased tracks from his legendary vault to commemorate the 10th anniversary of his death. Stream the album below.
Timeless is the first Prince release curated to span every major era of his career, the estate said in a statement. Songs were recorded between 1977 and 2016 and include material recorded when he was a teenager in Minneapolis and from one of his final captured performances. The collection “offers a powerful reminder of the extraordinary depth, range, and timelessness of his life’s work,” the estate added.
The project was previewed through “With This Tear,” which Prince composed, produced, and performed in November 1991, before he famously gave the song to Celine Dion. The second single, “Stone,” an unreleased recording from spring 1995, was written by Sandra St. Victor, Tom Hammer, and Jules Van Even.
Interpol Unveil New Album This Mirror Weighs a Ton: Stream
Interpol have returned to unveil This Mirror Weighs a Ton, their eighth album and first release since signing to Partisan Records.
Comprised of 12 songs, This Mirror Weighs a Ton was produced by Andrew Wyatt, known for being the frontman of Miike Snow and for his collaborations with Mark Ronson, Lady Gaga, and Liam Gallagher. It’s the band’s first new album since 2022’s The Other Side of Make-Believe and their first record with longtime touring member Brad Truax on bass. The band has described the release as a sonic step-up incorporating sound design and woodwinds.
