Project Highlight

Aksara Hun Lakhon Lek: Living Urban Culture

The project aims to conserve and elevate Hun Lakhon Lek (Traditional Thai Small Puppet Show), a significant Thai cultural heritage, through public performances. These performances are staged in accessible public spaces, such as King Power Rangnam Complex, allowing citizens and tourists to experience this art form closely and without charge. The project ensures the preservation of the traditional wisdom and complete value of the original performance. This initiative reflects the concept of "Living Urban Culture," where art is integrated into the rhythm of daily life. It further supports the careers of artists and promotes the creative economy in a sustainable manner.

One Million Trees Planting

The "One Million Trees Planting" Project is a collaborative effort between the private sector, government agencies, and civil society to systematically expand green spaces within the city. The project focuses on planting trees in areas that directly impact the quality of life, such as sidewalks, public parks, community centers, and tourist destinations. Trees are viewed not merely as decorative city components, but as "Green Infrastructure" that supports the city across various dimensions: reducing air pollution, lowering ambient temperatures, mitigating flood risk, promoting public well-being, and genuinely enhancing urban liveability.

Climate Action

To support the goals of Climate Action and demonstrate a concrete commitment to managing climate change, King Power has implemented key projects focused on three main approaches: measuring and managing the carbon footprint, developing renewable energy, and fostering a corporate culture driven by environmental consciousness.

Green Energy for Future Tourism

King Power Group is promoting the use of clean energy in the tourism business through the installation of Solar Roof systems on eight buildings, generating a total capacity of 6,859 kWp. This covers the energy needs within the buildings, including the King Power Rangnam complex, where the solar energy is utilized for the air conditioning system. Furthermore, the company has installed energy-saving equipment such as Voltage Regulators and fan control sensors. This initiative effectively reduces energy consumption from fossil fuels, lowers GHG emissions, and sustainably elevates clean energy standards within the service sector.
