‘Cheaper by the Dozen’

As schools let out and summer approaches, families are granted more down-time to spend (obviously watching movies.) A family favorite that has always held a special place in my heart, the 2003 Cheaper by the Dozen, follows the lovably large Baker family, consisting of 12 children and parents Tom Baker (Steve Martin), a high school football coach, and Kate Baker (Bonnie Hunt), a retired journalist. When Tom is offered a college football coaching job and Kate’s parenting memoir is published, both parents are determined to fulfill their dreams while keeping their house in order and their children in check. The star-studded cast extends past the popular parental pair, including Hilary Duff, Alyson Stoner, and Ashton Kutcher. There is laughter, heartfelt moments, and outlandish pranks that may or may not involve soaking Ashton Kutcher’s underwear in raw meat… What else could you ask for?

‘Garth Marenghi’s Darkplace’

Garth Marenghi's Darkplace is one of the most brilliant British comedy series ever made — and it never stops being hilariously funny! Matthew Holness plays the titular "author, dream weaver, visionary, plus actor" Garth Marenghi, a sendup of pretentious genre writers who use their work to express their narcissism above all else. According to...

‘Adults’ Season 2

If there is a show in 2026 that I am on my hands and knees for, begging and praying anyone and everyone to check out so we can get more seasons, it has to be Adults on FX/Hulu. Thank god that Season 2 is finally here for our viewing pleasure because I needed another fix of the friend group that both scares me and makes me want to move to New York...
