‘Heartstopper Forever’

Four years after first saying “hi” to Heartstopper‘s Nick Nelson (Kit Connor) and Charlie Spring (Joe Locke), it’s time to say goodbye. Netflix’s beloved coming-of-age series came to an end last week with the release of Heartstopper Forever, a feature-length series finale. Picking up where Season 3 left off, the movie follows Nick and Charlie through the ups-and-downs of Nick’s final year of sixth form before he leaves for university. Their relationship is on solid ground as the school year stars and Charlie campaigns to be Head Boy at their school, but new challenges begin to arise, leaving them wondering if love itself is enough to make it through this season of life with so many unknowns. Heartstopper Forever, which Connor and Locke executive produced alongside the series creator and author Alice Oseman, is incredibly faithful to the final chapters of the Heartstopper graphic novels and serves as a fitting and emotional sendoff to a series that has meant so much to so many people, including me.

‘Garth Marenghi’s Darkplace’

Garth Marenghi's Darkplace is one of the most brilliant British comedy series ever made — and it never stops being hilariously funny! According to...

Thank god that Season 2 is finally here for our viewing pleasure because I needed another fix of the friend group that both scares me and makes me want to move to New York...
