Method: assetRelationships.insert

  • Creates a relationship that links two assets using an HTTP POST request.

  • Requires authorization with the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtubepartner scope.

  • Request body should contain an AssetRelationship object defining the relationship.

  • Successful responses return the newly created AssetRelationship object.

  • Optionally, specify onBehalfOfContentOwner for users associated with multiple content owners.

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

Query parameters

onBehalfOfContentOwner

The onBehalfOfContentOwner parameter identifies the content owner that the user is acting on behalf of. This parameter supports users whose accounts are associated with multiple content owners.

Request body

The request body contains an instance of AssetRelationship.

Response body

If successful, the response body contains a newly created instance of AssetRelationship.
