This achievement would not have been possible without the support of our valued partners, including the Kenya Forest Service, Kinale Forest Community Forest Association (CFA),Karen Forte Foundation, HENRY WANYOIKE FOUNDATION, Greens of Africa Foundation, Kenya Defence Forces- Kahawa Barracks, Azaavi Foods, SASINI PLC, aak-GROW/CropLife Kenya,Dedan Kimathi Foundation, Kenya Association of Manufacturers, ANALABS LIMITED - KENYA alongside the many institutions, stakeholders, and team members who showed up with purpose. Together, we planted 5,500 trees across 12 acres a meaningful contribution toward restoring ecosystems, strengthening climate resilience, and supporting sustainable livelihoods. What began in 2010 as a simple staff-driven initiative has grown into a nationwide movement, and moments like these remind us that real impact is only possible through collaboration. Saying goodbye is never easy. I am deeply grateful for all the opportunities I’ve been given and for the many experiences that have shaped me along the way. Over the past years, I’ve had the pleasure of working with fantastic colleagues on exciting and challenging projects. Through Cargill's microbiome platform Galleon, I’ve built important expertise in the relationship between the gut microbiome of poultry and animal performance and health. I’ve also had the privilege of collaborating with talented local teams around the world to implement new nutrition and digital solutions and support customers. Most recently, I gained valuable insights from the Alaatus program, designed to broaden the development of technical profiles — helping emerging leaders grow beyond their technical skills. I would especially like to thank my managers Henk Enting, Marcelo Dalmagro, and Christine Maziero Castro, who have coached me over the years into the professional I am today. A heartfelt thank you as well to my wonderful colleagues from the GLocal Poultry team. You are too many to list here 🙂. Working closely with you has given me many great memories, some of them shared in the pics ❤️ . As of April 1st, I have started as a freelancer, supporting companies in the development and positioning of products focused on general gut health in poultry. I’ve already begun this new adventure with great enthusiasm and look forward to many fruitful collaborations ahead.
