The RFID Pay Box is designed to imitate the functionality of a coin acceptor while integrating RFID-based payment. Instead of inserting a coin, a user taps an RFID tag on the device. The system then checks the cloud database for validation and generates a pulse, just like a traditional coin acceptor, enabling seamless transition from physical coin payments to digital RFID payments.
- ESP32 as the main microcontroller unit (MCU)
- Bench-powered circuit with dual voltage conversion (3.3V & 5V)
- Two LDOs for stable power supply
- Slot-type RFID sensor for quick payment
- Two LEDs for status notifications
- Screw terminal connectors for power input connections
If you would like to fabricate this project, you will need the following files:
- Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Pick and Place File
- Gerber Files
You can find these files in the repository under the relevant directories.
- There is no dedicated power LED on the board.
- Workaround: You can check the VDD pin of the sensor to confirm power availability.
