I use a tablet at my kitchen counter to display the recipe while I am cooking.

For several recipes I need to time how long I am running a blender, or a food processor, or how long I am whisking something. These times are typically measured in seconds, not minutes.

From what I can tell, you can only define integer minutes for the timer incorporated into steps.

I would like the "Time" to be updated to MM:ss instead of just M

Describe alternatives you've considered

My current workaround is that if I need a sub-minute timer, I just add a 1 minute timer and pay attention as it counts down. This works, but I would greatly prefer if I could just set the duration I actually wanted.
