Motivation for the change, related issues
WordPress packages like components are outdated. This prevents us from using newer components and other features.
Implementation details
Updated all WordPress packages in
package.json.The MenuItem stopped supporting the
hrefprop but it still works as expected, so I just added a ts-ignore for now.Testing Instructions (or ideally a Blueprint)
