Email not sent when using “Send a notification to #team” action in Alert Rules #107322

Environment

SaaS (https://sentry.io/)

Steps to Reproduce

When configuring an Issue Alert Rule with the action:

Then perform these actions → Send a notification to #team

no email is sent, even though Issue Alert Notifications are enabled and the member is part of the team

Additionally, clicking Send Test Notification does not send an email either (I received a notification but support team members could reproduce this).

I reproduced this in my test org: https://kismeow.sentry.io/issues/alerts/rules/zs_react/16644342/details/

Expected Result

Members of #team should receive an email notification when the alert fires

The Send Test Notification button should send a test email successfully

Actual Result

No email is delivered when the alert fires

Send Test Notification also does not result in an email being sent

No visible error is shown in the UI

If set, Slack notifications are delivered.
