Data scientist and founder · Australia
Founder of Putpad, by A Siriyar Interactive. Putpad is an AI tutor for children aged 4 to 10 who learn differently, whether that means ADHD, autism or dyslexia. It teaches through interactive lessons, and a child can interrupt with a question at any moment.
I hold a Master of Data Science from RMIT University, completed with distinction. Over the past few years I've worked across web analytics, business intelligence, and process automation, mostly finding ways to turn messy data into something that helps people make decisions.
Most recently I was a Web Analyst at NJM Group in Melbourne, looking after digital tracking, reporting, and anything data-related across the business. I enjoy the problem-solving side of this work. Building a dashboard from scratch, cleaning up a broken data pipeline, figuring out why the numbers aren't adding up: that part never gets old.
These days most of my energy goes into Putpad, alongside ongoing work in machine learning, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and how AI tools fit into real analytics workflows.
- Languages and tools: Python, R, SQL, Power BI, Excel, WordPress
- Analytics and data science: Google Analytics, pandas, scikit-learn, Streamlit, Plotly
- Cloud: AWS, Azure
Python Random Forest Streamlit
Built during my RMIT Data Science program to help farmers in Western Australia decide what to grow based on soil and climate data. We reached 92% accuracy with a Random Forest model and shipped a Streamlit app for farmers to use directly. I helped coordinate a team of six through the whole thing, from data wrangling to stakeholder testing.
Python PuLP Streamlit Plotly
A Work Integrated Learning project with ACCIONA and RMIT. We built a vendor selection tool using linear programming that optimised for carbon emissions and ESG performance alongside cost. An interactive Plotly dashboard let procurement teams explore trade-offs and export results. I learnt a lot about how sustainability decisions actually get made inside large organisations.
Arduino IR Sensors Embedded Systems
My undergraduate capstone at Sri Sairam Engineering College, Chennai: a low-cost communication device for paralyzed patients, built with Arduino and IR sensors, letting people express phrases through eye movement alone. It worked, it was affordable, and it compared favourably to camera-based systems at a fraction of the cost. One of the most meaningful things I've built.
Python NLP Reddit API
A personal curiosity project. I scraped and analysed Reddit discussions around ADHD medication to find patterns in how people talk about side effects, dosage, and experience. Good practice in NLP, API integration, and working with unstructured text.
- handsfree – client-side gesture control driving real DOM focus, built for accessibility
- handspun – a hand-conducted generative instrument that runs fully in the browser
- colonium – a multi-browser LLM council for research workflows
A few research projects from my time at RMIT:
- AI for Alzheimer's Detection – deep learning and chatbot-based screening using multi-modal health data (2024)
- Vanadium Flow Batteries – R dashboards comparing energy efficiency metrics, published on RPubs (2024)
- AI for Sustainable Energy Materials – an AutoML framework for identifying eco-friendly energy storage materials (2024)

- Vice President – RMIT Occasional Choral Society (ROCS), 2024–2025
- Assistant Event Manager – RMIT Funkadelics Club, 2024
Running events and leading a choral society taught me more about communication and herding people than most coursework did.
