i run a bunch of servers in my closet (and probably yours too)
- self-hosting everything β because why pay for cloud when you can hear your hard drives scream from the next room
- build simple websites & apps that work (mostly, eventually)
- run tor snowflake proxies to help people bypass censorship. take that, great firewall
- operate syncthing relays so your files can find their way through the dark
- ping random servers around the world via globalping β helping the internet, one icmp packet at a time
- lowercase enthusiast. capital letters are a suggestion
- antisocial but my servers are very social
- i believe every home needs at least one rack-mounted server running at 65Β°c
- "have you tried turning it off and on again?" is not a meme, it's a lifestyle
π‘ tor snowflake proxies = fight censorship
π syncthing relays = sync all the things
π globalping probes = y tho? Β―\_(γ)_/Β―
π₯οΈ random web apps = digital garden, lots of weeds
π¦ various docker containers = it's turtles all the way down
some old hardware running linux, probably covered in dust, consuming electricity and making my room slightly warmer. it's fine. i don't need a heater in winter anyway.
