👋 Hi! I'm Timothée Poisot (he/him or they/them)

✨ I am full professor of Quantitative & Computational Ecologist at the Université de Montréal, where I lead the Laboratoire d’Écologie Prédictive et Interprétable pour la Crise de la Biodiversité

❓ What does it means?

❗ I use machine learning and data science tools to solve ecological problems, with a sustained interest for network ecology, emerging zoonoses, and the prediction of species interactions. I particularly enjoy the challenging puzzle of making inference from sparse and incomplete data, and to deal with multiple sources of uncertainty.
