Every big journey is really just a series of small steps. Over 85 kilometres and 1,452 poles from Najaf to Karbala, that's exactly what our colleague Munira Choonia discovered on the Arbaeen Walk, that showing up, one step at a time, is what carries you all the way. It's a belief we hold close, and the very thinking behind #ZindagiKeLiyeSIP: stay consistent, keep going, and let the small steps add up to something bigger. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/dQmMRUUc
#ArbaeenWalk 1,452 poles. 85 kilometres. Countless moments of gratitude. Some journeys are not just about reaching a destination, but about everything you experience along the way. Walking from Najaf to Karbala in Iraq, every pole brought a new feeling. There were moments of exhaustion, moments when the road seemed endless, and moments of overwhelming gratitude. Yet, we kept moving one step at a time. And somewhere along those 85 kilometres, I was reminded that it is the small, consistent steps we take every day that move us towards a better tomorrow just like Zindagi Ke Liye SIP. HDFC Mutual Fund Just like this walk, you don’t always know how far you’ve come until you look back. Walking alongside millions from across the world, experiencing the warmth of the Mawakeeb, sharing the road with strangers who felt like family, and finally reaching Karbala is a feeling words can hardly do justice to. Tired feet, but a deeply full heart. Grateful for every step, every act of kindness, every stranger who became family, and the incredible peace at the end of the road.
