It has been about understanding how India eats, identifying the occasions that matter, and creating brands and products that can earn a meaningful place in them. Over the last six years, that has meant building across different categories, cities, occasions and consumer needs. It has meant making thousands of decisions - from what belongs on a menu and how a product should evolve, to how a brand shows up in the moments people choose it. Some ideas have grown into brands. Some products have become favourites. And every launch, iteration and consumer interaction has taught us something about what it takes to build food experiences at scale. This milestone is also a reflection of the people behind that work. It is made possible by teams who obsess over the details, partners who grow with us, and consumers who choose our brands, share their feedback and continually give us reasons to get better. As Curefoods completes six years, we’re taking a moment to celebrate everything that has been built so far - while keeping our focus firmly on what comes next. Six years gives us plenty to look back on. But even more to look forward to. While India has become one of the world’s leading investment destinations, much of the value created by foreign companies continues to flow overseas through dividends, royalties and intellectual property-related payments. As India seeks stronger positions in advanced manufacturing, semiconductors, critical minerals and technology, policymakers are increasingly focused on creating Indian-owned IP and globally competitive enterprises. Anuj Gupta shared thisIndia's EV revolution may not be held back by the cars. It may be held back by our apartments. Imagine wanting to buy an EV but discovering that you can't charge it at home. The RWA may object. The building may not have enough electrical capacity. The wiring may not be designed for it. And there may be no clear process for getting a charger installed. That is not a minor inconvenience. For an apartment-dwelling country, it could become one of the biggest barriers to EV adoption. Look at what is happening globally. The EU is requiring new residential buildings to be pre-wired for EV charging and is moving towards a “right to plug” — residents should be able to install a charger in their parking space, with objections allowed only on serious and legitimate grounds. The UK has specific standards and financial support for charging in flats and residential car parks. China, where apartments dominate housing just as they do in India, is building shared residential charging alongside individual home chargers. Australia is working through the equivalent problem in its apartment “strata” buildings. The lesson is pretty straightforward: Don't build an EV charging network only around highways and shopping malls. Build it into the places where cars spend 90% of their time. For India, that means: → Make new apartment buildings EV-ready, with wiring and electrical capacity built into the basement from day one. → Give residents a clear right to install a charger in their allotted parking space, subject to genuine safety requirements — not an arbitrary RWA veto. → Create simple rules for separate metering and billing so one resident's EV doesn't become everyone else's electricity bill. → Upgrade the electrical backbone of existing buildings and allow multiple residents to connect as EV ownership grows. → Where individual chargers aren't practical, create properly managed shared chargers in residential parking areas. → Introduce smart charging and time-of-day electricity pricing so hundreds of cars can charge overnight without creating a new peak-load problem. India already recognised the need for charging infrastructure in its Model Building Bye-Laws years ago. The challenge now is making those rules work for the person standing in an apartment basement asking a very simple question: “I want to buy an EV. Anuj Gupta posted thisNew piece in Open Magazine I argue that India’s next important governance reform should be structured, institutionalised consultation between government and industry. Today, consultations are often ad hoc and driven by immediate policy needs. A more systematic model—with fixed monthly consultation days, direct participation by companies, continuous feedback channels and a clear government response—could make policymaking more responsive and reduce unintended consequences. The larger idea is simple: governments should listen to the economy on a schedule, not just in a crisis. Anuj Gupta liked thisAnuj Gupta liked thisAn SAP practitioner recently described some legacy ABAP as “lower than bad practice.” He had seen all the familiar problems: loops inside loops, database calls in the wrong places, weak modularisation and years of small fixes. Then he pointed out that the same code had been running important business processes for years. That combination makes modernisation tricky. It is easy to spot code that needs cleaning up. But it takes much more care to work out why a strange branch was added, which exception it handles, and who relies on the result. Enterprise code carries history. Sometimes the implementation is poor while the business knowledge inside it is extremely valuable. So when we analyse an old programme, performance issues are only part of the picture. We also map dependencies and reconstruct the underlying rules before changing anything. The rewritten programme has to behave the way the business expects, including the awkward edge cases. There is usually a good story behind bad-looking legacy code. Finding that story is part of the engineering job. #SAP #AgenticAI #S4HANA Sookti AI
