Transportation and Parking is an essential part of UNC-Chapel Hill and is responsible for coordinating all traffic, parking, and transportation around the University campus. The department strives to provide a high level of service to students, employees and visitors at the University and Hospitals.

Fall 2026 Student Move-in Set for Aug. 12-16

Fall 2026 student move-in will take place from Wednesday, Aug. 12, through Sunday, Aug. 16. Transportation and Parking encourages students and everyone on campus during this upcoming period to plan ahead for parking and traffic.
