  • Nine finalists from our entrepreneurship league, SAYLEAD x Kampung Melayu Subang, graduated at a ceremony held at Menara KWSP, graced by Duli Yang Teramat Mulia Tengku Amir Shah Ibni Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj, Raja Muda Selangor, founder and patron of SAY.   Their journey through the six-month entrepreneurial training programme has been transformational and marks only the beginning of their future growth. EPF, in partnership with SAY (Selangor Youth Community), is proud to be part of their journey, supporting their development through modules in branding, marketing, financial management and business development.   SAYLEAD x Kampung Melayu Subang is part of our efforts to strengthen income generation for long-term financial security, aligned with the objectives of the Santuni MADANI initiative to uplift the well-being of the people, and reflecting our commitment to GEAR-uP’s objective of raising the floor by empowering communities to build stronger, more sustainable livelihoods. The programme has supported a total of 20 budding entrepreneurs from Kampung Melayu Subang.   Accompanied by EPF Chairman Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Mohd Zuki Ali and our senior management, DYTM Raja Muda Selangor also visited the Kwasa Damansara branch. We were honoured to host and share how our products and services support members across their lifecycle towards a more prosperous retirement.   #KWSP #CommunityDevelopment #SocialUplifment #SantuniMADANI #SAY #SAYLEAD

  • Thank you YB Chin Tong Liew for the visit and insightful discussion. We appreciate your support and shared commitment to delivering long-term value for our members and the nation. #KWSP

I paid my first visit to the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) headquarters in Kwasa Damansara. With its total investment assets of about RM1.3 trillion, EPF is the 12th largest pension fund in the world and a professionally run national treasure. During the visit, not only I saw EPF members being professionally served at the service counters but also the very impressive trading floor where fund managers and bond traders were moving the market. I had a good discussion with CEO Ahmad Zulqarnain Onn and his team, focusing on EPF’s mandate of delivering dividends to its members while aligning with the national objectives. I encouraged them to build more internal expertise to understand strategic sectors, such as the semiconductor industry. Thanks for the kind welcome and great exchange of ideas. Let's do the best for our nation. EPF Malaysia

  • Akaun Fleksibel reflects a more balanced approach to meeting members’ short-term needs while safeguarding long-term retirement adequacy.   Our latest research report, “Enduring Today Shaping Tomorrow: Akaun Fleksibel as a Financial Lifeline for Wellbeing”, shows that when immediate financial pressures are managed in a structured and targeted manner, members are better able to remain focused on their long-term retirement adequacy.   At Menara KWSP yesterday, we continued this important conversation through a panel session moderated by Dr. Muhammad Aizat Zainal Alam (Social Wellbeing Research Centre), featuring Dr. Christopher Choong Weng Wai (Khazanah Research Institute), Suraya Zainudin (Ringgit Oh Ringgit), and EPF’s Hawati Abdul Hamid.   The discussion explored how short-term financial tools, when designed responsibly, can strengthen a more inclusive social protection system while also shaping healthier financial behaviours over time.   Since the April 2024 account restructuring, we are already seeing encouraging early outcomes. Basic Savings achievement has surpassed 40%, alongside stronger uptake in voluntary contributions, signalling growing awareness and commitment among members towards their financial future.   The EPF extends its appreciation to representatives from ministries and agencies, international organisations, associations, NGOs, think tanks, academia, financial planners, and key opinion leaders who joined us in advancing this important dialogue.   Explore the report: Executive Summary: https://lnkd.in/gNRb5W4p Full Report: https://lnkd.in/gTrCfNSY   #KWSP

  • There’s value in going a little further, even when we feel we’ve done enough.   A bit of extra effort, preparation, or foresight today can give us the confidence and peace of mind to face the future.   After all, it’s not just about what we have now, it’s about being prepared for what comes next.   Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri from all of us at EPF.   #KWSP
