T. S. Lim berkongsi kandungan iniWhen did playing become more about winning? I started playing pickleball about a year ago and initially loved it because I was learning something new. Every new shot felt like a small achievement. Then I got better. And somewhere along the way, I started thinking less about learning and enjoying the game, and more about winning it. That got me wondering: What else in life starts out as something you enjoy, only to become something you feel you have to win? https://lnkd.in/gq4fC4B7

T. S. Lim berkongsi kandungan iniI started by asking: “How do I add AI features to my app?” I ended up asking a completely different question: “Should this be a skill instead?” Revisiting a side project I built six years ago changed how I think about designing software for the AI era. Sometimes the best AI feature isn’t another feature at all. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/gkk7JFMw

T. S. Lim berkongsi kandungan iniAn unforced error is a term used in 🏸 racquet sports to describe a mistake that wasn’t caused by your opponent. It’s simply a point that should never have been lost. The more I thought about it, the more I realized we make these same mistakes in investing, health, and many other parts of life. We spend a lot of time searching for winning moves, but not enough time eliminating the avoidable mistakes that quietly hold us back. That became the inspiration for my latest article. https://lnkd.in/gNtSFh8v

T. S. Lim berkongsi kandungan ini🧵 A continuation of my previous post on Nexus and working with AI. This post explores how AI is changing the way we think about software, from static tools to systems we can extend and mould around ourselves. Extensions That Extend You. https://lnkd.in/gKXdbB47

T. S. Lim berkongsi kandungan iniOver the past year, I stopped just using AI and started building the AI I work with. I created a personal assistant called Nexus that manages tasks, memory, and context across my workday. What surprised me most wasn’t productivity. It was how editable AI workflows actually are. Here’s what I learned: https://lnkd.in/gAdV4pnf

T. S. Lim berkongsi kandungan iniUnderstanding your numbers is a superpower. But only if you know how to use them. 🎯 Targets tell you where you want to go. 📈 Forecasts tell you where you’re likely headed. 🔮 Projections tell you how you might get there. Most people stop at tracking — but the real magic is in turning these numbers into action. T. S. Lim berkongsi kandungan iniWhat a journey it’s been. Time for the next adventure ;)T. S. Lim berkongsi kandungan iniTwelve years. Dozens of products. Hundreds of decisions. Thousands of quiet lessons. I joined Mindvalley with T. S. Lim to build software. What I ended up building was deeper — teams, systems, judgment. From transitioning to Elixir and Phoenix, to architecting how our tech connects across domains, to leading a team I trusted deeply — I learned what it really takes to build something that lasts. What surprised me most? It’s not the technical decisions that scale. It’s clarity. It’s care. It’s quiet systems that help others do their best work. This is my reflection on that journey. I hope it helps someone else out there in their own. 📚 Read the full story here - https://lnkd.in/gCd4smdQ 🙏 And thank you to everyone who shaped it along the way. Vishen Lakhiani for taking a chance on us. T. S. Lim berkongsi kandungan iniTwelve years ago, my co-founder John Wong and I joined Mindvalley, bringing our product-building experience from Flexnode to a new mission: to not just launch software, but to scale something meaningful. What started as a two-person team in a small office in Kota Kinabalu became a journey that took me through building products, building teams, designing an office, leading a division — and eventually, building myself. Mindvalley is a personal growth company. And true to that, the last 12 years have been the biggest period of growth in my life — not just professionally, but personally. I wrote this to reflect on that journey and to say thank you to the people who made it meaningful. To everyone I worked with, learned from, and built alongside: thank you. You helped shape the leader and person I’ve become. Read the full story here: https://lnkd.in/gNms4Mwu Special thanks to: Vishen Lakhiani for taking a chance on us Alex Dogliotti, PhD Norman Noble Dario Bianchi for all the support Let this be a reminder to myself — and maybe to you too: Never stop building. What I’ve Built and Learned in 12 Years at MindvalleyWhat I’ve Built and Learned in 12 Years at Mindvalley

T. S. Lim berkongsi kandungan iniDuring dinner, my daughter said she was feeling cold. The first thought that popped into my head: Is she having a fever? I reached for the thermometer, hoping it was nothing but also mentally preparing myself for a potentially long night ahead. This is a familiar scene for parents with young kids. You've got the paracetamol, blankets and cold patches ready. You check temperatures hourly, make sure they're properly insulated, all while keeping your own anxiety in check. As her temperature started to climb, we gently tried to convince her to take some meds and place a cold patch on her forehead. Like always, it took some negotiation. At one point, I even showed her the thermometer as proof she was, in fact, having a fever. Then came a question that is simple, honest and surprisingly profound: “If I’m getting hotter, why do I feel cold?” I paused for a moment and thought to myself: Why do we shiver when we’re burning up on the inside? https://lnkd.in/guSqK6TP #TheFeverPrinciple #EnvironmentMatters #ChangeYourEnvironment #LifeLessonsThe Fever Principle: How External Environment Shapes Internal ExperienceThe Fever Principle: How External Environment Shapes Internal Experience

T. S. Lim menyukai kandungan iniT. S. Lim menyukai kandungan ini⚡️ How does an idea become a digital product people use every day? It starts with a team capable of turning that idea into something real. From web and mobile development to UX/UI and product innovation, Yopeso has grown from a local tech company into an international team delivering complex solutions across multiple industries. What does more than two decades of growth look like? • 20+ years of experience • 300+ projects delivered • 300+ experts building digital products • Long-term partnerships built on trust and collaboration With 100% German capital and offices across Europe, Asia and the United States, Yopeso combines international expertise with a global presence, delivering tailored, cost-effective solutions to clients worldwide. But can a company’s story be told through numbers alone? Not quite. What makes this journey especially meaningful to us is that part of it is happening right here in Moldova, where local teams contribute every day to products used around the world. 🇲🇩 Because real growth in tech rarely happens overnight. It is built project by project, challenge by challenge and year after year. At Moldova Innovation Technology Park, we’re proud to have residents like Yopeso, companies that are shaping the future of technology while strengthening Moldova’s innovation ecosystem. 🧡 Dionis Spinei

Today marks a special milestone in my career as I officially join YOPESO as a Junior Software Developer! 🎉 After spending six months with YOPESO as Software Engineering intern, I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to return and continue my journey as part of the team. My internship gave me valuable exposure to real-world software development, teamwork and the challenges that come with building software in a professional environment. Now, I’m excited to take the next step, deepen my technical skills, take on greater responsibilities and continue learning from the amazing people around me. A big thank you to everyone at YOPESO who supported and guided me during my internship and made this opportunity possible. I’m looking forward to seeing what’s ahead and contributing wherever I can. T. S. Lim menyukai kandungan iniT. S. Lim menyukai kandungan iniA month ago I joined Conveo, easily the best call I've made in a while. When I met Dieter De Mesmaeker and Hendrik Van Hove during the interview process, what stood out was how clear they were about building what users actually need, instead of what's easiest to ship or loudest to announce. I've built my own things before, so I know how rare that is. Then I met Maarten Claes and Vincent Vankrunkelsven, who showed me how this team actually builds. Engineers own it end to end, from the customer call to production, with agents in the loop at every step. I was sold immediately. The world's biggest consumer brands use Conveo to understand why people buy, switch or stay. It runs real qualitative interviews at scale: voice and video conversations that probe, follow up and go off-script when an answer deserves it. The hard part is knowing when to dig. And it turns out people tell you more when nobody's judging them. Excited to be part of this team! 🎉

T. S. Lim menyukai kandungan iniT. S. Lim menyukai kandungan iniTime for some engagement farming. Recently I had a <highly improbable situation involving some made up hardship>. Then I realised something: <some unbelievable reframing of the situation> For <some very long time period/all of my working career/all of my life> I thought <some dumb belief I supposedly had> I was wrong. I thought <some concept about success> was about: ❌ <common assumption #1> ❌ <common assumption #2> ❌ <common assumption #3> ❌ <common assumption #4> But then <another unlikely scenario quite possibly involving insights from my youngest child and/or dog> happened. That's when everything changed for me. <a paragraph or two describing that unlikely scenario which tries so hard to make you believe I didn't make it up> The biggest <achievement/opportunity/result> I've had? It didn't come from <the obvious expected source>. It came from <some totally unexpected source/action>. A simple <usually completely innocuous action>. With <insert person/animal/group/situation>. So here's my advice: <painfully obvious "lesson" that will make anyone reading this go "of course!"> Because <some zen like broader understanding or principle>. Agree or disagree? 👇 <question designed to encourage low effort comments that can easily be construed as "insightful">
