Bio

Frontend designer and developer who started developing WordPress themes in early 2013. I have worked with WordPress based websites for several years until recently decided to learn how to code and here are some of my latest WP themes and solutions.

I will try to keep this page updated with my progress in web development and software development in general.
Areas of expertise
CSS, HTML, JavaScript (jQuery), PHP but still have no idea about MySQL but I am getting there. You can follow me on Twitter

WordPress Origin Story

I started using WordPress with version 2.5 when it was all about blogging and nothing more. It was very limited but I pushed it hard with various content websites and most of them were made to manipulate Google SERPS. It went well but slowly I realized that it is not sustainable business which is hard to manage if you are not developer yourself because I had to spend hundreds and sometimes even thousands of dollars for a tiny tweaks that could be easily done if I would know a basic HTML/CSS/PHP.

Soon afterwards I quit this venture and started blogging about technology and again it went incredibly well and my blog got featured on all major Tech News sites such as Techcrunch, Engadget, The Verge, CNET and other. And I did get on their front page several times but it was boring yet very profitable venture. The main problem was that I wasn’t contributing or building anything, I just wrote about iPhones, iPads and other shiny hardware.

I love building things that’s why I switched to software development. I am now in the right place and i am building things. For now it is all about WordPress but you never know where I will end up one day. Feel free to follow my journey!
