March 27, 2026 Introducing the share full IP address feature
We’ve introduced a new feature in Google AdMob that allows you to share the full IP address in bid requests.
Many buyers consider the full IP address a critical signal for assessing the quality and relevance of an ad impression. Sharing the full IP address in bid requests helps you maximize the value of your inventory.
When you use the Share full IP address feature in AdMob, you can provide this signal to Authorized Buyers, Open Bidding, SDK Bidding and/or Google demand on standard ad units.
Note: This feature does not affect or control partner bidding ad units.

March 09, 2026 Consent syncing for apps launched in the Google CMP
Consent syncing for apps synchronizes user consent decisions across your apps, improving the user experience by eliminating redundant consent prompts. This feature is available if you use European regulations messages in the Google CMP. By minimizing consent fatigue, you can increase user engagement and potentially boost ad revenue.
To use this feature, you'll need to have multiple apps with overlapping users and be able to pass a cross-app user ID to Google via the UMP SDK. Get started in your Privacy Messaging settings.
March 02, 2026 Recent transition to IAB TCF v2.3
All publishers and CMPs were required to transition to the IAB Europe's Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF) v2.3 by March 1, 2026. Failure to meet this requirement may cause the associated ad request to be defaulted to Limited Ads or dropped entirely, which may impact revenue.
We have introduced a new TCF error report code 1.4 to represent scenarios in which the "Disclosed vendors" section required of all TCF v2.3 strings is missing, malformed, or does not include Google. For details, visit Publisher integration with the IAB Europe TCF and Troubleshooting IAB EU TCF v2.3 implementation.

Feb 05, 2026 Introducing large anchored adaptive banners to better support larger modern mobile devices
On February 05, 2026 The getLargeAnchoredAdaptiveBannerAdSize API method replaces the getCurrentOrientationAnchoredAdaptiveBannerAdSize API method to support updated sizing logic better suited to modern devices. These banners adjust ad height according to the specified width, with a maximum height of 150x150dp (Android) or 150x150pts (iOS) or 20% of the device height in the chosen orientation, whichever is smaller, replacing the 320x50 banner format and smart banners.
Refer to the developer guide (Android, iOS) for more information.
Jan 20, 2026 Deprecation of the Anomalies card
On January 20, 2026, the Anomalies card (formerly known as the Insights card) will be removed from the AdMob Home page and individual app dashboards.
This card currently highlights significant performance fluctuations detected at the app level over the previous 14 days. After January 20, these automated alerts will no longer be generated or displayed in AdMob.
While the automated card is being removed, you can still monitor for anomalies manually by using your AdMob reports. We recommend using the Ads Activity report and filtering by specific apps to identify significant changes or trends in your performance metrics.
No action is required from you to facilitate this change.
