Recently we worked with a bank to distribute their funds, which were restricted for school supplies aid. Hundreds of asnaf beneficiaries were nominated by participating school administrations in Pahang, and we seamlessly collaborated with our patner vendor, Canggih. Gobarakah E-vouchers can be restricted to grocery, back-to-school, pharmacy/medical, education fees, utilities, cash aid and many more. Gobarakah provides transaction traceability. Every redemption creates: - a platform-generated receipt - redemption record - beneficiary usage data Our system reduce risks such as: - resale of aid - misuse of cash assistance - intermediary leakage We're building a humanitarian payment infrastructure for restricted and traceable distribution of aid involving chain and independent vendors. WeRide has secured a strategic equity investment from Grab and established a partnership to deploy Level 4 autonomous taxis and shuttles across Southeast Asia. The investment, expected to be finalized in the first half of 2026, will support WeRide’s fleet expansion and AI-driven mobility solutions. The collaboration will integrate WeRide’s autonomous driving technology into Grab’s fleet management and route optimization systems. Additionally, the two companies plan to upskill driver partners, preparing them for new roles in an autonomous mobility ecosystem.

Thanks for hosting Zephan Chan Yu Yun. Pleasure to meet you and Michael Chua. We discussed at length on topics such as building defensible businesses in the era of AI, training and education of mid-level professionals in AI with quality learning materials, human-in-the-loop accountability, the disappearance of low-level jobs, and last but not least semi-autonomous or fully autonomous AI employees. Also, we discussed how the early adopters are constantly moving from one platform to another due to hype and fomo. Sunken cost in training could evaporate overnight. The counter risk mitigation strategy is to understand the principles of prompting and the various capabilities of models. The takeaway from the the meetup is that we agree that now is the time to take action, not later. Adopting AI in your organisation is a multi-prong strategy which encompasses these parallels: 1. Training and education 2. Mindset shift (irrational fear to proficiency) 3. Automating repetitive and low value work 4. Streamlining manpower 5. Constant professional upgrades and learning 6. Compliance regarding governance, ethics, etc.

I believe, that learning LLM tools is crucial for modern startup founders. You need to able read, to count numbers, to search information in the internet and to write prompts. Otherwise you are not competitive with others. AI can’t fully substitute human in performing human tasks for now (and probably won’t able for dozen years), but it can significantly speed up things (and surprisingly speed – is one of the most crucial things for startups), help you to do things you are not fully aware of how to do (but you must understand expected result) and to act as a silly, lazy intern. Yes, it is usually not enough to make a startup, but it is enough to start it. Last two batches of MyRoboteam we were experimenting with format and content and we had diverse group from many countries with interesting ideas. This year we are expanding it even further. Quick catch-up with Nhân Phùng before the Lunar New Year break. We were reflecting on how to advise clients who are considering investing in a new app. One important reminder: Before proposing any web or application development, don’t start with features. Start with outcomes. Instead of asking: “What functions do you need?” Ask: • What business metric needs to improve? • Where is the current bottleneck? • What decision will this system enable? • What ROI justifies the investment? In some cases, we even ask a harder question: What happens if you don’t build this app? Because if the business impact is unclear, or the downside risk is too high, sometimes the best advice is not to build it at all. Our role is not just to build software. It’s to protect our client’s investment logic Clear outcome first. Then design the system around it.
