A singular aspect of living in Maine: My Republican Senator is vehemently against Trump's tariffs & strongly encourages better trade relations with Canada. My Democratic Congressman supports Trump's tariffs and doesn't have a problem sticking it to the Canucks.

I think my view is that as someone who works in the takes industry, I’m not gonna take a particular side just to maintain some particular contrarian ratio. I’ll take a side because I think it’s the better argument.

I think my view is that if you work in the takes industry, and aren’t willing to sometimes take the 30 percent side of a controversial 70/30 issue, I don’t understand why you do what you do.

Look, I’m still trying to process that Trump actually suggested he’d use military force to intervene in the bond markets. He didn’t mishear the question, mind you, he appears to really think that he can use force to coerce the bond markets.

The President of the United States said that de-transitioning surgeries are being done on his personal orders and no one has paused for a moment to wonder if any rational person would say something so completely and feverishly crazy - because it's just part of the new normal.
