Some of you seems to forget that print first and foremost is a business. A photographer whose distinctive visual language is so attuned to the cultural pulse and a well beloved celebrity as the subject is a guarantee copies will fly off shelves.
Galliano had been canonized as a fashion figure who defined the 21st century a long time ago. The fashion circuit still sings his praises to this day. His work is still featured in exhibition after exhibition and that’s not stopping anytime soon. I think he will be just fine.
I just know Andrew Bolton is TIRED of having to put up with Bob’s shenanigans and couldn’t wait any longer for the costume institute to become entirely self-sufficient.
