Trisha Sengupta on X: "Amid the flood of CBSE exam results on social media, where many are sharing stressful stories of parental backlash over low scores, I can’t help but be reminded of how my parents reacted when I failed my Class 10 maths exam. I remember crying my eyes out, almost on the verge of passing out. My parents (with 0 dramatic reactions and extremely calmly) just told me, "Life is long. It's just an exam." I rarely share personal stories, but I want to pass that comfort along to anyone struggling with poor results right now: if no one else is saying it to you, let me say it - “Life is long. It’s just an exam. You will be ok.”"

Sometimes the way parents react leaves a bigger mark than the grades themselves.
