Luis Robert Jr. gives the Orioles the RHH center fielder they’ve long needed. Robert is no longer a star player, but he’s a good defender with plus speed and is solid vs. LHP (career .856 OPS, .797 OPS past two years, .719 OPS this year). He’s an upgrade for Baltimore vs. LHP.

Orioles are staying TBD for starting pitcher tomorrow against the Rockies. Cade Povich was supposed to start today for Triple-A Norfolk, but he didn’t end up pitching in that game. Orioles are in the middle of 16-day stretch without a day off. Rosters expand Tuesday.
