Syllable day at Software Freedom Day 2006 NLSep 8, 10:42am
Kaj de Vos writes: "Like last year, there will be a Software Freedom Day in the Netherlands organized by Bas de Lange, on Saturday September 16 in the city of Utrecht. The Realtek 8169 network card driver has been ported from Linux. This is the first Gigabit network driver for Syllable. A Beta release is available and the driver will be included in the next release of Syllable.

We have three new releases in the space of a couple of days. First of all BurningShadow has released SimpleBurn Alpha2, a CD creation application. He's also given us the Syllable version of SYASokoban 2.0, a rather nice Sokoban clone. Last but not least, GCC 4.1.1 is available for developers. Get 'em while they're hot!
