As a follow-up to our announcement last month of the MPC director’s resignation, we can now confirm that the MPC’s host institution, the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, has appointed senior astrophysicist, Matthew Holman, as interim director. It is expected he will fulfil this duty for the next 6-9 months.
