John Witherow is currently the longest-serving editor in Britain; he was appointed editor of The Sunday Times in 1994 and moved to The Times in 2013. Under John's editorship The Times became profitable for the first time in 13 years in 2014 and has won a record amount of awards. Before he joined News UK (previously News International) he worked for Reuters and the BBC.
