Bug: Freemius .pot conflict blocking translations

I hope you are doing well.

I use Variable Inspector extensively in my daily debugging workflow, and I am currently trying to translate the Pro version into Brazilian Portuguese (pt_BR) using Loco Translate. However, there seems to be a structural bug with the language files in the current build preventing any new translations.

When I open Loco Translate (Plugins > Variable Inspector Pro), I immediately get the following debug warning:
“Debug: invalid pot file: variable-inspector.pot: plugins/variable-inspector-pro/languages/variable-inspector.pot”

Additionally, I noticed a few strange behaviors in the UI:

1. The translation list only shows “.mo” files, completely missing the editable “.po” files.
2. The Template File is showing up with the file info pointing to “freemius.pot” instead of the plugin’s actual text domain.
3. If I try to force the creation of a new language, it throws a fatal error: “Error: Translation set not known in Variable Inspector Pro”.

It looks like the Freemius integration might have accidentally overwritten or corrupted your main .pot template file, or the build script missed packaging the .po files properly.

Could you take a look at the “languages” folder structure in the Pro package? Once the template is fixed, I will gladly complete the pt_BR translation and send you the files if you’d like to include them in the core.
