Hello. Is there any known bug that would prevent the undo/redo buttons from not activating when making changes? Thanks for your help.

A quick skim didn’t reveal what I was looking for as well — Gutenberg 23.4.0 on WP.com 7.0.1 greys out the undo/redo buttons in the editor. I am using Firefox 152.0.3.

Deactivating Gutenberg resolved the issue for me.

I believe this has been resolved by this PR: https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/pull/79510

The fix will be part of the next version of Gutenberg (23.6), scheduled to be released on July 22. 23.6 RC1 should be released tomorrow, so stay tuned.
