  • What Is Your Superpower?

    WordCamp Slovenia 2026Speaker: Maja Miličević

July 24, 2026 — Maja Miličević explores how our biggest professional advantage is often hidden in what we perceive as a weakness. Drawing on personal experience and hands-on work with WordPress websites, she shows how SEO, content, communication and strategy each work as distinct superpowers that combine to drive results. The talk covers website structure and its impact on visibility, why understanding your audience matters more than any single SEO technique, how to write content that works for both Google and real users, and how to connect SEO, UX and communication into one cohesive strategy. The core message is that digital marketing is not a set of separate disciplines but a system where every skill, from analytics to storytelling, can become a superpower.

  • Stop Pasting Translations from ChatGPT

WordCamp Slovenia 2026Speaker: Dario Jazbec Hrvatin

July 24, 2026 — In my talk, I’d like to address a growing problem I see regularly: site owners using ChatGPT or Google Translate to translate content, then manually copy-pasting it into their WordPress sites. While this feels free or cheap, it’s actually expensive, error-prone, and produces inconsistent results. I’ll cover five key problems with this approach: – Time cost: Manual copy-paste workflows take hours; the “free” translation is actually expensive – Broken content: LLMs can translate CSS classes, shortcode attributes, or HTML elements, breaking the front-end – Inconsistency: Different sessions, prompts, and tools create mixed styles and formality levels across the same site – Lack of context: Generic AI doesn’t know your audience, brand voice, or terminology – Update nightmare: Finding where to paste updated translations (especially in languages you don’t speak) is nearly impossible The takeaway: use proper multilingual plugins that integrate AI translation correctly. I’ll mention WPML (my company’s product), alongside TranslatePress, MultilingualPress, and Polylang, as established solutions that handle these problems properly. This is educational content about workflow efficiency, not a product pitch. The core message applies regardless of which solution attendees choose.

You’ll get a series of practical tips on how to use the power of storytelling in important situations: from creating memorable marketing campaigns and presenting a project to a client, to enhancing your chances in a job interview. You’ll see how beneficial this strategy is for developers as well as creatives. But above all, this should be a fun act of storytelling about storytelling, with all the joy that stories evoke.

  • Scaling Intelligence: Applying AI in WordPress Multisite Environments

    WordCamp Slovenia 2026Speaker: Rade Jekic

July 24, 2026 — AI is showing up everywhere in web workflows right now. But when it comes to WordPress Multisite, what do you actually need to make it work in practice? It’s not just about adding a plugin and calling it a day. There’s a bit more going on under the hood. In this session, we’ll look at the groundwork you need before bringing AI into your Multisite setup. Think about the everyday stuff, like creating or cloning sites, managing users, and handling content. These processes don’t stay the same if you want AI to help; they need to shift a bit so everything runs smoothly and stays consistent across your network. This isn’t a tools-heavy talk. Instead, it focuses on how your setup and workflows need to evolve, so AI is actually useful (and not just hype). You’ll see practical examples, learn how to get your network ready, avoid the usual mistakes, and build something that can scale without turning into a mess.
