Jane Godiner

Jane Godiner is the food, beverage and dining reporter for The Baltimore Sun. Previously, she served as a food reporter for D.C.'s Washingtonian magazine and at Columbia, South Carolina's weekly paper The Post and Courier. She has served as a judge for the James Beard Foundation and, in 2025, won first place in food writing in the weekly division of the South Carolina Press Association News Contest. She graduated from Bowdoin College and received her master's degree from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. In her free time, she enjoys reading cookbooks and playing with her floppy-eared rabbit, Reese. Email her at jgodiner@baltsun.com.
