  1. Wealdstone's Barrett out with serious knee injurypublished at 15:50 BST 2 October

    Wealdstone have confirmed that defender Mason Barrett ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament during Tuesday's National League game at Forest Green.

    Barrett, 27, sustained the injury shortly after coming on as a substitute in the 1-1 draw.

    Barrett had appeared in 10 of Wealdstone's first 11 league games this season.

    Wealdstone have signed midfielder Tyrelle Newton on a season-long loan deal from Gateshead.

    The 22-year-old started his career at Luton Town and signed his first professional contract with the Hatters in 2022.

    He left the club as a free agent in 2024 and joined Gateshead where he has made 52 appearances, scoring four goals.

    Wealdstone have signed striker Wilson Waweru on a permanent deal.

    The 25-year-old has spent his career in the League of Ireland, most recently at Cobh Ramblers.

    Waweru, who has also had spells at Sligo Rovers and Galway United, has spent the past few weeks training with the Stones.

    "Wilson has impressed us throughout pre-season with his movement, work rate and quality in the final third," manager Gary Waddock told the club website.

    "He gives us another strong attacking option and we're really pleased to have him with us."

    Wealdstone have signed defender Jaydn Mundle-Smith on a permanent deal for his second spell at Grosvenor Vale.

    The 26-year-old made more than 110 appearances for the Stones between 2021 and 2024, winning the supporters' and players' player of the season awards in 2024.

    He missed the whole of last season recovering from a long-term injury, and has spent the summer pre-season training with the Stones squad, playing in three games as a trialist.

    Stones boss Gary Waddock told the club website:, external "He knows the club extremely well, he's had a strong pre-season and has shown that he's ready to make an impact again.

    "He's a player we know we can trust and we're delighted to have him back in the squad."

    Wealdstone have signed former Luton forward Admiral Muskwe and former Crawley defender Dion Conroy.

    Muskwe, 27 (pictured), started his career with Leicester before joining the Hatters, and was with Morecambe last season.

    Conroy, 30, joins from Crawley, who he captained to promotion to League One two years ago.

    Manager Gary Waddock said, external: "Admiral has been with us for a few weeks now and has impressed everyone with his attitude and application.

    "He gives us another strong option at the top end of the pitch, and his pace and power will make him a valuable addition to the squad."

    Wealdstone have signed young defender Josh Mullins on a one‑month loan from Championship side Watford.

    The 20‑year‑old joins the Stones after successful spells at Bedford Town, where he helped the club secure back‑to‑back promotions to National League North.

    Mullins has trained with Wealdstone for much of pre‑season, and manager Gary Waddock says the youngster has settled in well.

    "Josh has done very well in the time he's been with us, so we're really happy to get this across the line," Waddock told the club website., external

    Wealdstone have also announced the return of goalkeeper Endurance Johnson.

    The 22‑year‑old was part of the squad that reached last season's FA Trophy Final at Wembley, where they were beaten on penalties by Southend United.
