With a journalism career that spans more than two decades, Jessica Roiz has become a force and expert in the Latin music industry, which today is reflected in her storytelling, interviewing, reporting, video, and social media skills. Currently the associate Latin editor at Billboard, Roiz has penned key cover stories on Feid, Camila Cabello, Rauw Alejandro, Manuel Turizo, and Arcángel, among others. At Billboard, she also launched the coveted "On The Radar Latin" franchise and is the on-camera host of its video series "Cafecito Con." Her previous bylines can be read in The Miami Herald, El Nuevo Herald, La Opinion, Huffington Post, Latin Times, MiTú, Periodico Hoy, and VIX (formerly known as Batanga). In 2015, she founded Latin digital media PulsoPOP, which today boasts nearly two million collective followers on social media and is overseen by a team of aspiring journalists. A graduate from the Florida International University and proud Nicaraguan-American, Roiz was named a Wonder Woman of Latin Music in 2025 by the LAMC and Amazon Music.
