Quote logo“I think everyone can benefit from going to therapy, even if you don’t have a diagnosis. I encourage everyone to learn more about the mental health resources available to them and to identify therapeutic support in their community because you never know when it may come in handy. There is also no shame in reaching out for help. Our job as therapists is to help guide you, not judge you or shame you. If you are afraid to ask for help or struggling with stigma, know you aren’t alone and there is a therapist out there who would love to listen and aid you with whatever you are going through. Also, don’t underestimate the power of finding a therapist who is a good fit! Even if it takes you a while to find someone.’”
