Investing and Planning in Your Parks
The Park District’s Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) is a plan for building new facilities and fixing, replacing, or upgrading existing parks and infrastructure.
It also includes early steps that help make these projects happen, like studies, long-term planning, and buying land.
Each year, the Park District’s Board of Directors reviews and approves this plan as part of the annual budget. Projects are selected for funding during that process and are planned out over the next five years.
You can check the status of current projects on the CIP Project Dashboard, which is updated every few months.
If you have questions about a specific project, you can email [email protected] or use the Contact Us form.
