News: 1 day agoConcepcion secured five of eight targets for 64 yards and returned two punts for 10 yards in the Browns' 27-24 win over the Steelers on Thursday.
Spin: Concepcion and fellow rookie Denzel Boston continued to spark the Browns' air attack Thursday, and the former finished second in receptions and receiving yards while setting the pace in targets. Concepcion's catch and yardage totals also qualified as new career highs, and the productive night served as a welcome bounce-back effort after the rookie first-round pick had been held to 2-9-0 receiving line in the Week 3 win over the Panthers. He should continue to garner plenty of Deshaun Watson's attention in a Week 5 road matchup against the Jets on Sunday, Oct. 11.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Concepcion was selected by the Browns in the first round of April's draft. He is a quick and explosive short-to-intermediate receiver whose career 27.2% target share topped this entire rookie class. Primarily a slot receiver during his first two seasons at NC State, Concepcion played more on the outside in 2025 at Texas A&M, but he figures to primarily work inside in the pros (career 72% slot rate), while also helping as a rusher and returner. Concepcion will need to fend off the likes of Jerry Jeudy, Harold Fannin Jr. and fellow rookie Denzel Boston for targets in an offense with quarterback issues, so while he has upside, he's best valued as a flex.
