Steve Huffman is cofounder and CEO of Reddit, the forum-based social media site designed to be the "front page of the internet."
Huffman launched Reddit in 2005 with his then-college roommate, Alexis Ohanian. The pair sold the site to Condé Nast for $10 million in 2006.
Huffman left Reddit in 2009, returned in 2015, and has served as CEO ever since. The company went public in 2024, and Huffman became a billionaire a year later thanks to his stock compensation package.
Reddit now has 116 million active daily users. After incurring annual losses since its founding, Reddit reported $115.5 million in net income for the first half of 2025.
Huffman also cofounded the now-defunct travel website Hipmunk in 2006.
