FOREST SANGHA

International Monasteries in the Theravada Buddhist Tradition
of Ajahn Chah

This Forest Sangha website integrates the two previously separate sites: www.forestsangha.org and www.forestsanghapublications.org. It serves as a portal to an association of branch monasteries of Wat Pah Pong in NE Thailand.

This worldwide community of monasteries grew out of the early Western disciples of Venerable Ajahn Chah, and the website aims to support the free distribution of teachings from this tradition.

A history of this Forest Sangha community, with useful explanations about the website.

An introduction to the life and teachings of the Late Venerable Ajahn Chah.

A list with links to all the branch monasteries in this community, plus a gallery of photos.

Published teachings in written and audiobook format, from senior monks and nuns.

If you are going to walk the same path as I did, the journey definitely has to take place in the heart.
