Digital Content Creator

Responsibilities
- Create compelling, audience-focused content driven by user experience, including text stories, photos, graphics, live streaming content, and social media posts.
- Dig beyond the headlines to identify, develop, and publish engaging news and feature content.
- Reach and engage millions of FOX 4 followers across FOX LOCAL, Facebook, X, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and other digital platforms.
- Collaborate with the FOX Television Stations Group Content team to distribute high-interest stories across FOX-owned stations nationwide.
- Monitor and act upon real-time analytics, Google Trends, audience behavior, and emerging topics to maximize reach and engagement.
- Apply SEO and audience development best practices to improve content discoverability, user engagement, and overall digital performance.
- Identify opportunities to experiment with new storytelling formats, platform features, and emerging digital trends.
- Produce content optimized for web, mobile, streaming, social media, and search platforms.
- Support breaking news coverage with urgency, accuracy, and strong editorial judgment.
- Perform other duties as deemed necessary and assigned.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience developing and publishing content, including news content, on digital and social platforms preferred.
- BA/BS degree, preferably in Journalism, Communications, or a related field with an emphasis on digital publishing.
- Excellent writer and storyteller.
- Superior news judgment.
- Impeccable writing and copy-editing skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive under deadline pressure in a fast-paced newsroom environment.
- Stellar communication and collaboration skills.

News Photographer

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
- 3–5 years' experience as a television news photographer (competitive market preferred).
- Strong video composition, lighting, and audio skills.
- Experience with live transmission technologies (Satellite, Cellular Bonding, IP workflows preferred).
- Non-linear editing proficiency (e.g., Edius, Adobe Premiere, or similar platforms).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

News Producer

The Role: As a News Producer, you are the primary architect of our linear and streaming news content. We are looking for an active decision-maker who can lead a team and execute high-level coverage under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Show Production: Responsible for producing all elements of linear and streaming newscasts, including leads, stories, teases, and breakouts.
- Breaking News: Act as an experienced leader in the coverage and execution of live and breaking news events.
- Live Stream Management: Produce and manage live streaming coverage of breaking news, live events, press conferences, and original programming for FOX LOCAL apps and social platforms.
- Editorial Leadership & Collaboration: Demonstrate strong editorial knowledge while collaborating with newsroom, digital, social, and production teams to align coverage and workflows across platforms.
- Audience Engagement & Distribution: Distribute and optimize content across the FOX LOCAL apps, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, and emerging platforms with an emphasis on growth and engagement.
- Technical Integration: Must be capable of using news computer systems and be familiar with television and digital production techniques.
- General Duties: Perform other duties as appropriate and assigned.
What You Bring to the Team: We are looking for a journalist with excellent news judgment and the ability to lead a newsroom.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism or Communications required.
- Experience: Three (3) to five (5) years of television news experience in a medium to major market.
- Writing & Production: Strong writing and show production skills are essential.
- Critical Skills: Excellent communication skills, solid news judgment, and strong research/data recovery skills are required.
- Deadline Performance: Must be capable of working and performing well under intense deadline pressure.
