Faye Fearon head shot - British GQ

Faye Fearon

Contributor

Faye Fearon is a journalist, copywriter and consultant. She kickstarted her career in 2019 at British GQ, where she worked as a Junior Digital Editor. In this role, she covered a broad range of topics, from reviews in music and cinema to curated guides in travel and lifestyle. Later, she joined the fashion team, profiling rising designers and sharing personal styling advice informed by industry trends and her personal subcultural taste.

Seeing menswear through more of a left-field lens, her post-GQ ventures have taken place in Paris, where she now lives and works as a full-time freelancer. Alongside being published by titles like L’étiquette, Dapper Dan, The World of Interiors and Vogue, she has worked as a copywriter for several international agencies (including Condé Nast Commercial Creative), and a consultant for brands like Husbands and Hermès. She also continues to contribute to GQ as a weekly commerce writer.

When she’s not typing, you’ll find Faye spinning music behind a set of decks, as she works as a DJ by night. From punk bars to techno clubs, she has grown to be a key figure in Paris’ nightlife scene, and has also performed on stations in Berlin, Brussels, and beyond. Sound and style are the makings of her identity, so after you’ve finished reading her recs at GQ, head to YouTube or Soundcloud to tune into her sets.
